Conscientious building: We recycle all lumber from our demolition and remodeling projects. Wood recyclers grind it up for wood byproduct building materials such as paralam beams, and osb sheathing. All metal is likewise recycled, and doors, windows and cabinets are donated to non-profit organizations for resale. By the time we get ready to take garbage to the dump, there isn’t much left.
Pre-cycling: The use of cabinets, flooring, trim lumber, and other materials made from sustainable forests or with minimal impact on the environment are always offered as options.
Planning: JP and Dave will work with you on a plan to get the project started. We begin with your ideas, add our expertise, and with an agreed upon approach, provide drawings. With a visual representation of the end result, changes can be made to suit your interests. If architects or structural engineers are required, we will work in concert to complete the job. Once the plans are in place, we’ll make a detailed schedule for the work, coordinate with subcontractors, and get the work underway.
Additions: With our experience and your dreams of an expanded living space, your addition will be the solution to a renewed home. When the neighborhood is ideal and your neighbors are great, schools and shops are nearby, building on is a better option than moving to a larger home.
